Kelly is the mother of five children and a certified birth doula. Her passion of becoming a doula started after the birth of her second child. Kelly wanted to share her feelings of empowerment and help other women achieve it. She started training through Childbirth International in the fall of 2012 and became certified spring of 2013. Even though Kelly's official training ended, she has never stopped learning and acquiring new information on anything birth/baby related. Every new mom that Kelly has the privilege of helping, she learns something new. Kelly achieved certification in the Rebozo Method by Gena Kirby in the fall of 2014. Kelly feels that every woman should be supported throughout their pregnancy and birth experience in order to reach their desired birth. She supports any type of birth, whether it be all-natural, medicated, induced or cesarean birth. Kelly is able to provide services in any setting, hospital, birth center or home.
Giving birth is an exciting, and life changing event. In my own experience, knowing what's happening with my body, what my options are and how to handle any scenario have made my children's births memories I will cherish forever. I believe with my whole heart that every mother is capable and deserves the same.
